Posted on 21st Dec 2009 @ 10:49 PM

This tutorial is designed for our customers who have purchase the wiikey 2 solderless and forgot to mention they have a D2B or DMS chipset, if your serial code is less than LEH134- then this will apply to you

The symptoms are a dead drive and constant red LED light when the chip is installed, Good News the fix is simple! All you need to do is get a pair of scissors and cut across the lines G D E F as shown in the image below :

You will know the chip is working when you place it back, power the wii and a flashing blue red blue lights sequence appears on the chip and your drive should now power up

DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU HAVE A D2C, D2C2, or D2E CONSOLE (SERIAL CODE ABOVE LEH134+)
